Douglas James Tindall, 50

Douglas James Tindall, 50, of Smelterville (Page), Idaho, lost his battle with alcoholism on December 26, 2023. Doug, as many called him, was born in Peoria, Ill., on April 23, 1973, to Mike (Marilyn) Tindall of Mapleton, Ill., and Rae Jean (Waechter) Wilson of Canton, Ill. 

Doug graduated from Clark High School in Las Vegas, Nev., where he played baseball. Following graduation, Doug worked many jobs, but mostly as an auto body detailer and later became a semi-truck driver for a logging company. Doug was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, hiking and mushrooming along with his constant companion, his dog, Abby, who was his whole world. 

In addition to his parents, Doug is also survived by his brother, Brian Tindall of Cantin, Ill., and his sister, Beth Ann Williams also of Cantin, Ill., as well as three nephews, Colton, Cayden and Rhylend and one niece, Ciara. 

No services are planned at this time.
