Historic Silver Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts installation banquet
KELLOGG — The Silver Valley Chamber of Commerce invites the community to its annual installation banquet at 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19 at the Kellogg Elks Lodge at 202 1/2 McKinley Ave. This event serves as a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the chamber's dedication to serving businesses in the Silver Valley.
This year’s event theme is school yearbook, and those attending can dress according to the year you graduated or as a favorite coach or teacher to join in the fun.
The banquet will feature an awards ceremony recognizing the contributions of individuals and organizations across a variety of categories: 10 or more years of service, 10 years of service, citizen of the year, love our locals, precious gem, business member of the year, volunteer of the year, community engagement, and community beautification.
The new officers are: Juli Zook, president, Keri Alexander, past president, Kelton Enich, first vice president, Andy Helkey, second vice president, Chris Marker, treasurer, and Scott Albrethsen, secretary.
The board members are Bridget Hojem, Gina Doerschel, Sarah Murphy, Tara Lodi and Gus Colburn. The new incoming board members are Angie Soper, Melinda Parks, Molly Roberts, Jessica Krulitz and Tristen Straw.
The Silver Valley Chamber hosts the Jackass Half Marathon, 3 on 3 Silver Hoops Basketball Tourney, Kegs and Kickstands, Murder Mystery Dinner, Music in the Park, Shop Small, and the Winter Market.
