Forever Idaho grant funding up for grabs, closes this week
Grant applications are currently open for the Forever Idaho Grant Program through Idaho Community Foundation. The grant program strives to address a range of emerging needs among nonprofits to better communities. The deadline for applications for North Idaho is June 15.
Areas of impact targeted by the grant program include: housing stability, arts and culture, health and wellness, educational and economic opportunities and environment and animal welfare. The majority of the grants awarded will fall in the $3,000-$8,000 range with a potential maximum request amount of $25,000.
Applications from nonprofits in the Northern Region Cycle include nonprofits in Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Clearwater, Idaho, Kootenai, Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce, and Shoshone counties.
The Regional Councils are made up of volunteer community members from each region and make grant recommendations with the final awards approved by ICF’s Board of Directors.
Grants for North Idaho are planned to be awarded in September.
