Armed standoff ends peacefully in Osburn

OSBURN –– Early this morning, the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office responded to an intoxicated individual armed with a handgun in the city of Osburn. 

Scott Grimm, 61, was threatening to harm himself in front of his family and kids prior to law enforcement arriving at the scene 

There was an armed standoff lasting about 10 minutes before deputies were eventually able to disarm the individual and place him under arrest.
