WALLACE — Shoshone Medical Center Foundation is hosting a casino night fundraiser Saturday, March 16, for the Shoshone Medical Center to update its blood monitoring alarm system.
The goal is to secure $16,000 to replace the current system. The blood monitoring alarm system notifies staff if the blood storage unit goes outside of the safe temperature zone, and there is only a limited amount of time to correct the temperature before blood supplies need to be discarded.
Dinner begins at 5 p.m. at the Wallace Elks, 419 Cedar St., Wallace. Dessert and a raffle entry are included.
Tickets: aflanagan@shomed.org or 208-784-1221 ext. 556.
