Medical emergency reported at Lookout Pass

Lookout Pass Ski and Recreation representative Matt Sawyer reported Thursday afternoon that a man experienced a medical emergency and was presumed dead.

Lookout’s patrol, EMS and Shoshone County Fire Department responded to the scene to assist the man.

The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office stated in a later social media release that the man was deceased upon their arrival.
