Shirley Ann Schneider, 79

Shirley Ann Schneider, 79, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away March 16, 2024, at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg, Idaho. Shirley was born Jan. 10, 1945, in Helena, Mont., a daughter of the late Frank Schneider and Alice Schneider-Leighton. 

In her childhood, Shirley relocated to the Silver Valley with her mother, Alice. She enjoyed gardening, especially taking pristine care of her yard and flowers. Shirley was independent until last year, when she became a resident of Silverton of Cascadia, formerly Good Samaritan. 

Shirley is survived by her sister, Sandra (John) Specht of Osburn, Idaho; two nephews, Mike Rullman of Athol, Idaho, and Chris Rullman of Castle Rock, Colo.; and her canine companion, Sparky. 

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Shoshone Funeral Services, 106 S. Main St., Kellogg, Idaho. Inurnment will follow at Day Cemetery in Osburn, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley’s memory may be made to Shoshone Pet Rescue (www.shoshone-pet-rescue.org)
