Connie Lorraine Crawford, 76

Connie Lorraine Crawford, 76, of Pinehurst, Idaho, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully at home May 10, 2024. Connie was born Nov. 28, 1947, in Spokane, Wash., a daughter of the late Morris Torgerson and Cora (Culp) Torgerson. 

Connie grew up in the Silver Valley and graduated from Kellogg High School, Class of 1966. She was a key punch operator for Sunshine Mining Company and later worked as a data processor at Mitchell Energy in Texas. Connie returned to Idaho in 1986 and worked for several years at Kootenai Health as an office assistant at the cancer center and later in the MRI department.  

She married Kevin Crawford on May 1, 2002. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and two little dogs. She was known for her incredible sense of humor and for bringing laughter to every situation.  

In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Jenicek.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin Crawford of Pinehurst, Idaho; her two daughters, Karri (and Eric) Erickson of Kingston, Idaho, and Jessica (and Jeff) Ogden of Lewiston, Idaho; stepchildren Lee and Mona Crawford; sisters Judy Nickelby of Spirit Lake, Idaho, Pam (and Greg) Grayson of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Torrie (and Rick) Coker of Kingston, Idaho; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.   

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 17, 2024, at 3 p.m. at American Lutheran Church in Kellogg, Idaho. A potluck reception will follow the services at the Pinehurst-Kingston Lions Club building in Pinehurst.
