Kris Brady, 61
Kris Brady, 61, of Pinecreek, Idaho, passed away April 27, 2024, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. After a long battle with COPD, the Lord has taken Kris to heaven.
He had worked many years in construction. Kris was the general manager of Concrete Unlimited Construction Co. It was not just a job for him; he always ensured the clients received quality work and that it was exactly what they wanted. Kris was very dedicated to his job and was sometimes known to be a bit “picky” about how things needed to be done.
Kris’s favorite time was always spending time with family. He loved to plant his garden (measuring each row so it would be perfectly spaced), having plenty of sunflowers in the garden to keep everyone smiling. He loved to go camping and pick huckleberries (making sure to measure each cup before freezing). He loved hunting and spending time at the lake, either fishing, being on the beach or just enjoying the fire. Kris also enjoyed setting up at a flea market and visiting with his friends.
His love continued to grow bigger and bigger with the addition of each grandchild. Over the past seven years, his eyes would always light up when he saw them. They all enjoyed many activities with their Papa. Kris loved to teach the grandchildren about how to safely use his tools, including the names and what they were used for, showing how to plant the garden (they all loved going in the garden so Papa could cut up fresh veggies for them), going on “scooty rides,” reading stories to the kiddos and learning lifelong skills. These are memories they will never forget.
Kris is preceded in death by his parents, Al and Dolores Brady; brothers Terry Brady and Scott Brady; and honorary brother Rod Fields.
He is survived by the love of his life for 41 years, Claudette Brady; his two beautiful daughters, Merissa (Jeff) Marquez and Natasha (Jacob); his loving mother-in-law, Shirley; and six grandchildren, Micah, Molly, Miles, Roen, Rylan and Glen. Kris is also survived by his companionate sister, Michelle Lewis. There are many nieces, nephews, family and friends who were an important part of his life.
Kris touched the hearts of many people; he will be missed dearly.
All family and friends are invited to help us celebrate Kris’s life Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shoshone Golf Club, 2000 Country Club Road, Big Creek (Exit 54). You know Kris, so please dress casually and comfortably.
