Scam involves impersonation of Shoshone County Sheriff's Office deputy

The Shoshone County Sheriff's Office is warning residents of a caller claiming to be Deputy Reese with the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office.
The number appears as a North Idaho phone number and the caller tells residents they are in legal trouble and need to pay a fine.
If you receive a call from someone claiming to be law enforcement and asking for personal financial information, the sheriff's office said to consider a scam.
