Shoshone CP: Lori Osterberg, Republican Candidate – Shoshone County Clerk

| October 25, 2024 1:00 AM

My name is Lori Osterberg and I am the Republican Candidate for Shoshone County Clerk. I was born and raised in Shoshone County. I worked for the Kellogg School District for 29 years in the transportation department.

I held various titles throughout my tenure including dispatcher, trainer, assistant director, and director. I am well versed on budgets and the means to stay within them, as I scored 100% on federal and state compliance.

During this time, I was also the state trainer for regions 1 & 2, essentially being the go-to person for Idaho code-related questions.

As of recent, I was a Region 3 specialist for the State Department of Education. I have a vast knowledge of Idaho code, best practices, statutes & regulations, and budgeting. This position also gave me the ability to audit and advise Idaho school districts to keep them within their respective budgets.

I am currently the treasurer of the Pinehurst Water District and oversee the financial administration of the organization. During my childhood, my father was a logger and we spent most of our summers on the St. Joe River for his employment. My husband Tim Miller and I have raised six children and have five beautiful grandchildren. We currently reside in Pine Creek, just outside Pinehurst. As an adult, I still enjoy camping with my family and feel Shoshone County is still the best place to retreat.
