Silver Valley Seniors ask for helping hand

OSBURN — Silver Valley Seniors are asking for donations to the Silver Valley Meals on Wheels program due to fundraising concerns.

The Silver Valley program is only partly funded by the federal government and now provides five meals a week to participants after having to scale back from seven meals a week due to a lack of resources.

Community members are being asked for donations.

Donate $8 per meal are asked for participants in the congregate meal program. While receiving food from delivery drivers, check can be given to Meals on Wheels delivery drivers.

Cash or check can also be sent to the Osburn Senior Center at P.O. Box 887, Osburn, ID 83849.
