Becky A. Hickman, 74

It is with sadness that we announce that Becky A. Hickman passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Sept. 6, 2024, at the age of 74.

Becky was born Oct. 5, 1949, to her mother, D. Eulala Stafford, and father Hansford Eugene Williams in Sentinel, Okla. At the age of 5, she moved to Las Vegas, Nev., where she would live for 46 years. After graduating from high school, Becky married Ronald D. Hickman. Together, they welcomed their child, Rhonda A. Hickman, on Nov. 14, 1967. In addition to her commitment to her family, Becky was dedicated to her career in medical billing, which she did for 40 years. 

Becky and Ron moved together to Harrison, Idaho, in 2000, and it wasn’t long before she found her home and community in the Silver Valley. Becky built relationships that would last and was cherished by her friends in Kellogg. She enjoyed gardening at her home in Wardner and was an amazing cook who shared her love for cooking with anyone who was hungry. 

Becky is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Hickman; and her brother, Joey J. Williams. 

She is survived by her brother, Jerry D. (Sharon) Williams; daughter Rhonda (Julie) Hickman; daughter in-law Kendra Williams; nieces Ashley (Matt) Wagner, Haley (Adam) Rabih, Kirby (Robert) England and Brianna (Sean) Cody; and grandchildren Chrystal Graham, Kelsey Williams, Shelby (Patrick) Simmet and Tyler (Natasha) Williams. 

In keeping with Becky’s wishes, donations in her memory may be made to the pet rescue organization of your choice.
