Richard 'Dick' Silva, 82

Richard “Dick” H. Silva, 82, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away Jan. 31, 2025, at his home in Osburn. Richard was born Oct. 10, 1942, in St. Ignatius, Mont., the son of the late Mike and Helen (Matt) Silva. 

He married Donna Rae Marie (Cogger) Silva on May 20, 1961 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Donna later passed away June 17, 2013. 

For numerous years, Dick worked various construction jobs, including working alongside his son, Tim, on the Interstate 90 project in Wallace. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and going fishing. Dick enjoyed the simple things in life and loved his family. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Donna, Dick is preceded in death by a son, Rick Silva. 

Survivors include his two sons, David (Jerrie) Silva and Tim (Tonie) Silva. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

At his request, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.
