COEUR d’ALENE — Freshman Brooklyn Charles had 15 points, 10 rebounds and three steals for the top-seeded Kootenai Warriors in a win over the second-seeded Mullan Tigers in the 1A District 1 championship game at North Idaho College’s Christianson Gymnasium.
It is the first district title for Kootenai since 2014.
Freshman Harleigh Dutton had eight points for Kootenai.
Avah Blankenship scored six points for Mullan, which finished 1-16.

COEUR d’ALENE — Senior Bethany Phillips scored a season-high 15 points for the third-seeded Miners in a win over the second-seeded Jaguars in a 2A District 1 loser-out game at North Idaho College’s Christianson Gymnasium.
“Genesis Prep has a nice team,” said Wallace coach Nichole Farkas, whose team fell to the Jaguars 45-30 in an opening round game last Tuesday. “They are scrappy and well-coached. Bethany had 15 points, which was great to see. Our girls handled the pressure a lot better tonight.”
Junior Kylee Phillips scored 16 points for Wallace.
Senior Sienna Williams scored 16 points for Genesis Prep.

KELLOGG — Dani Henrikson had 13 points and five rebounds for the third-seeded Wildcats, who eliminated the fourth-seeded Maniacs from the 3A District 1-2 tournament at Andrews Gymnasium.
“The team passed the ball well and everyone stuck to our plan defensively and kept them off the boards,” Kellogg coach Jana Nearing said.
Aubree Groth had 10 points and 11 rebounds, Jordyn Stutzke seven points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and three assists for Kellogg.

KELLOGG — Junior Draeden Taylor had 18 points, seven assists and five rebounds for the Wildcats in a win over the Miners at Andrews Gymnasium.
“Draeden really played a complete game tonight,” Kellogg coach Mike Martin said. “We did some dirty work around the rim and was able rebound well. We struggled a little with Wallace’s zone, but shared the ball well and took advantage to get them out of the zone.”
Ty Cheney had eight points and 11 rebounds, Radley McDonald nine points and eight rebounds for Kellogg.
Senior Julian Davis scored 20 points for Wallace.

PRIEST RIVER — Senior Brock Kreager scored nine points and hit two 3-pointers, one with 37.2 seconds remaining, to push the lead to 50-46 for the Spartans in a Central Idaho League win over the Wildcats at Priest River High.
Senior Nate Stifel had 18 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots for Priest River, which hosts St. Maries on Tuesday in a battle for the league championship. Priest River beat host St. Maries 54-44 on Jan. 21 in their first matchup this season.
Junior Draeden Taylor scored 16 points for Kellogg, which will be the third seed to the 3A District 1-2 tournament.

WALLACE — The Miners outscored the Wampus Cats 23-7 in the second quarter en route to a Scenic Idaho Conference win at Kirby Krulitz Court, clinching the second seed to the 2A District 1 Tournament starting Monday.
Senior Julian Davis scored 19 points, freshman Cooper Miller 17 points for Wallace, which clinched the berth after having a higher MaxPreps ranking than Genesis Prep, which also finished 3-3 in conference.
Westin Caven and Owen Howard scored 10 points each for Clark Fork.
