KOOSKIA – The Wildcats got a real taste of what state wrestling is going to feel like at the North/South Duals in Kooskia.

The Wildcats picked up team wins over McCall-Donnelly, South Renegade, West Side, Melba, Nampa Christian, Parma, and Salmon, but dropped duals to Malad and Ririe.

“We had a lot of matches over 24 hours but our team grinded through it and came up with some big individual wins that will help us in the post-season and state seeding,” Head Coach Scott Miller said. “We were able to see all the ranked teams and Malad is definitely as good as advertised but we came up with some good wins.”
