Caroline Arlene Christmann, 90
Caroline Arlene Christmann, 90, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away July 6, 2025, at Mountain Valley of Cascadia Health and Rehabilitation in Kellogg, Idaho. Caroline was born July 21, 1934, in Wing, N.D., one of eight children of the late Jacob and Eva (Gillig) Knittel.
Caroline married Arthur Christmann and the couple moved to the Silver Valley so Art could take a job at the Bunker Hill Mine in Kellogg.
Caroline was a caring and loving mother, as well as a hard worker. She pitched in on the farm, driving the tractor and baling hay many a summer. She loved gardening and tending to her beautiful flower beds. She enjoyed her horses and always had a dog, with Reece being her most recent canine companion.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Arthur, Caroline is preceded in death by all of her siblings and their spouses, as well as one grandchild.
She is survived by her four children, Corrine Christmann of Gering, Neb., Danny (Kerry) Christmann of Gering, Neb., Richard Christmann of Cataldo, Idaho, and Cindy (Jerry) Wilbur of Pinehurst, Idaho; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
