Road closures for powerline work to begin next week

KELLOGG – Avista will be closing the section of Highwater Gulch Road between Gold Run Road and Elizabeth Park in Kellogg for scheduled work on the following dates:

- Monday, July 21, to Thursday, July 24

- Monday, July 28, to Thursday, July 31

On each of these days, the road will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This closure is necessary as Avista crews work to convert overhead power lines to underground. These upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to enhance wildfire resilience, safety, and infrastructure reliability in the area. Traffic control will be in place throughout the duration of the project.
