Loretta Harris, 98

Loretta Irene Harris (Hiller), age 98, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully June 9, 2025, from natural causes at Country Comfort Residential Care and Assisted Living in Coeur d’Alene.

She was born March 23, 1927, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to parents Emil and Velma Hiller. She spent her early childhood with her parents and sister Darlene Handley (Hiller) in California, then married her husband, Harold Harris, in 1949, who has since passed.

Loretta is survived by her two sons, Steven and Greg (Hind) Harris of Coeur d’Alene; two grandchildren, Kristen Harris of Rathdrum, Idaho, and Anthony Harris of San Diego, Calif.; and two step-grandchildren, Kristen McGough of Hayden, Idaho, and Amanda Raie of Denver, Colo.

The family would like to thank Country Comfort Residential Care and Assisted Living for the wonderful care they provided.

At the request of Loretta, only a private family gravesite service will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
