Man dies in crash on Fourth of July Pass

A North Dakota man died in a single-vehicle crash on Fourth of July Pass on Sunday.
According to the Idaho State Police, an RV driven by a 71-year-old male from Mandan was eastbound on Interstate 90 about 3:30 p.m. when he suffered a medical emergency.
The RV left the roadway, traveled up an embankment and overturned near milepost 29. The driver was wearing a seat belt, ISP said.
Emergency responders extricated the driver and transported him via Life Flight to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.
A 72-year-old passenger, also from Mandan, was not injured.
The roadway was blocked for about an hour.
An investigation continues.
