Rescue crews were able to locate the last missing ski thank to Two Bear Air’s use of a Recco Detector. The device sends out a highly directional signal and if that signal ‘hits’ a reflector, it bounces back.

Three skiers killed in Silver Mountain avalanche
KELLOGG — Following a three-day search and rescue operation, three skiers have been confirmed deceased as a result of an avalanche that occurred on Silver Mountain’s Wardner Peak Tuesday morning.
