Pinehurst Elementary School Principal Mike Groves (the pie-ee) sits next to PES kindergartner Carmon Sauer (the pie-er). Groves took the pie in the face as a reward for a school-wide fundraiser for the American Heart Association. The students needed to raise $2,000 to hit their goal (literally) and once they did they held an assembly for the whole school to watch both Groves and PES PE Teacher Callie Hegbloom get pied.
