
Wallace (Wally) E. Crandall served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a Seaman Second Class and a Fire Controlman and he crossed the Pacific Ocean five times during the war. He received several medals for his service – this includes an instance when Wally was on a Mine Sweeper ship when it was blown in half by a mine and was not injured.
