Work is currently underway on a new campground in Smelterville. The campground, located just north of Shoshone County Airport, is being designed with trail riding bicyclists in mind and will have several amenities available for campers.

Construction underway for new campground
The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR) in conjunction with Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, is proud to announce the construction of a 26-site tent-only campground along one of America’s most scenic pathways: the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes.
