NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING KELLOGG COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN per Idaho Code 67-6509 the Kellogg City Council has set a public hearing on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. or thereafter at Kellogg City Hall, 1007 McKinley, Kellogg, Idaho 83837. The purpose of the hearing is to review the update to the Comprehensive Plan and to incorporate changes that occurred since the 2013 update. The draft update includes current population and growth projections, revisions to planning goals and policies, and the addition of information not available in the current Plan. The update also includes an amendment to the future land use map for an area south of Bunker Avenue to Railroad Avenue, west of Hill Street and East of the Fairbridge Inn. This area is proposed to change from Residential to Commercial. All persons desiring to be heard should appear at this hearing. Written testimony or comments may be sent to the City of Kellogg, Attention Collin Coles Planning and Zoning 107 McKinley Avenue, Kellogg Idaho 83837. Oral and written testimony may be provided during the public hearing and submitted into the record. Persons are encouraged to submit any and all written comments by 4:00 p.m. on October 28, 2016. A draft of the Comprehensive Plan Update including the amendment to the Future Land Use Map may be reviewed or obtained at Kellogg City Hall.
