Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Billee Lylo Howard, 79, of Silverton, Idaho, passed away six days before her 80th birthday on March 7, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society-Silver Wood Village of Silverton. She was born March 13, 1937 in Butte, Montana; Billee was the daughter of Burt and Blanche (Fowler) Sparks.

IPNF to conduct Shoshone controlled burns

The most populated area being tackled will be in the Two Mile Project Area, located just north of Osburn. Maddox explains that this will be a Type 1 burn due to its complexity.

Closures lifted for Character Complex Fire

All closures associated with the Character Complex Fire on the Coeur d’Alene River have been lifted. Although work continues in and around the fire perimeter, fire managers confidently arrived at the decision to lift closures.
