On Wednesday, December 16th, 2020, Arney J. Wick, age 86, applied a final wax to his skis, and heeded the lifty’s call for “last chair”. Arney passed away peacefully at his home in Post Falls, Idaho, with his wife loyally supporting his transition.

Born John A. Legard on April 21, 1930, in Dorris, Calif., Jack was the eldest son of Allen W. Legard and Margaret (LaCombe) Legard. As a baby, the family moved to the Silver Valley in Idaho. Jack graduated from Kellogg High School, Class of 1947.
