Dean Hans Petersen, 77 years old, was led home to the Lord on October 30, 2020 at his home in White City, Oregon, after a battle with cancer. He was born September 17, 1943 in Spokane, Washington; Dean was the son of Samuel and Hanna (Stevens) Petersen.

All my friends, classmates, both high school and college, great family both mine and the ones I gained through marriage, have enriched my life beyond what any person can expect. It is difficult to thank all the people who made my life so grand. As one ages, the memory begins to fade or fail. First, my wife of about a half century tried to reign my impulsive nature, not always successful. But she enriched my life in so many ways; in our youth we traveled almost every weekend.
