Dr. Keith Ramel Dahlberg, 94, of Kellogg, ID, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and physician to many in the Silver Valley and beyond, passed away on April 27, 2023 at Mountain Valley of Cascadia in Kellogg, ID. Keith was born April 2, 1929, in Buffalo, NY, the son of Edwin Theodore Dahlberg and Emilie Loeffler Dahlberg.

Two-year I-90 project to begin in East Shoshone County
Construction will begin Monday, May 1, to rebuild nearly eight miles of I-90 from the Big Creek Exit to the West Wallace Exit. Next week crews will begin setting up the work zone, and by May 8, all traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction and shifted onto the westbound lanes so the eastbound lanes can be reconstructed this season.

Kellogg seeks to increase resort tax amount

For the past seven years, Kellogg has imposed a 3.5% local option, non-property, tax (LOT) – commonly referred to as a ‘resort tax,’ this fee is imposed on any lodging inside the city limits of Kellogg that is less for a duration of fewer than 30 days.
